Patrons of Sacred Music Annual Reception

Thursday, April 23rd | University Club of Chicago | Black Tie Optional

We warmly invite you to join us for an extraordinary evening in honor of sacred music — a night of elegance, inspiration, and community, benefiting the Sacred Music Apostolate of the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius. Last year, this gala sold out. To be a part of this noteworthy evening, be sure to reserve your tickets.

An Evening to Remember

From the first notes of the choir to the final course of dinner, every detail of this evening has been crafted to inspire. Guests can look forward to:

  • Private Recital — The St. Cecilia Choir, directed by Maestro Massimo Scapin, will perform a program of sacred works centered on the Resurrection with twelve voices

  • Five-Course Dinner — An elegant menu featuring Beef Tenderloin or Canadian Salmon, with vegan and gluten-free accommodations available

  • Keynote Address — We are pleased to welcome Peter Carter, who will speak on his recent book, co-authored with Cardinal Sarah, addressing the vital importance of sacred music in the life of the Church

  • Cocktail Reception & Fellowship — The evening opens at 5:30 p.m., and the bar remains open after dinner concludes to encourage conversation among our Sacred Music Philanthropists
