With thanks to Almighty God and to our Heavenly Patron St. John Cantius, the Canons Regular completed a fruitful 2nd General Chapter.
The Very Rev. Joshua Caswell, SJC has been elected again as Superior General of the Canons Regular, and together with his Council will fulfill the actions of the General Chapter.
At this time in our history, the Canons Regular have unanimously agreed that the Superior General of the community not also be the Pastor of St. John Cantius Parish, allowing the Superior General to care for the Community and its houses. The Superior General and the Council will recommend a Pastor to be appointed for St. John Cantius Parish in the coming months from among its members.
