St. Anne's Chapel Summer Masses 2024

Updated: 2 days ago

Join the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius this summer with Mass at St. Anne's Chapel in Lawton, MI. The St. Anne Chapel, crafted in the mountains of southern Poland in 2003 and reassembled in Michigan, features the traditional style of architecture that has been employed in that Polish region since the Middle Ages.

The Canons Regular are pleased to announce a celebration to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of our St Anne Chapel in Lawton, MI. The blessing ceremony and Mass led by the Bishop of Kalamazoo, Bishop Edward Lohse, accompanied with Gregorian Chant.

Immediately following Mass, the celebration will continue with a barbecue and potluck with fellowship under the pavilion on the grounds of St Anne Chapel. The pavilion is surrounded by beautiful woodland and overlooks a serene pond. Picnic tables are available in the pavilion but feel free to bring you favorite lawn chairs.

This is a good old fashioned Michigan potluck, so feel free to bring your favorite dish to share! Parking is available by the pavilion with additional parking available in the field adjacent to the Chapel.

We look forward to seeing you there!

*St. Anne's Triduum - July 25th, 26th & 27th

St. Anne, the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary, has always been a special patroness of the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius. This long-standing tradition in which three consecutive days are dedicated to St. Anne's intercession, is held every year with public Masses and devotions.

We invite the faithful to come participate and camp on the property for all three days or just one. Fill your spiritual cup with fellowship at the family cookout on the 26th.
